Copyright Agreement

The corresponding author shall download the copyright agreement. He/She must carefully read it before signing.

The corresponding author must upload the signed copyright agreement within the manuscript submission page.

The following are the clauses within the copyright agreements:

1. Parties to the Agreement

This Agreement is entered into between the Corresponding Author on behalf of all contributing authors (“the Author(s)”) and the Journal of Sustainable Cities and Built Environment (JSCBE).

2. Copyright Ownership

The Author(s) retain full copyright to the submitted and published article. No transfer of copyright is required or implied under this Agreement.

3. Publishing License

The Author(s) grant JSCBE a non-exclusive, perpetual license to publish, reproduce, archive, distribute, and index the work in all formats and media.

4.  Open Access and Creative Commons License

The article will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original author(s) and source are properly credited.

5. Author Rights and Repository Deposit

The Author(s) have the right to deposit the final published version of the article in any institutional, disciplinary, or national repository of their choice for the purpose of open access dissemination and long-term preservation.

6. Third-Party Content

The Author(s) confirm that all necessary permissions have been obtained for any third-party copyrighted material included in the article and that proper acknowledgement is provided.

7. Funding Declaration

The Author(s) declare that all sources of financial support and funding for the research have been fully and accurately acknowledged in the Acknowledgement section of the manuscript.

8. Conflict of Interest Declaration

The Author(s) declare that any potential conflicts of interest, whether financial or non-financial, have been disclosed in the manuscript. If no conflicts exist, the Author(s) confirm that the statement “The authors declare no conflict of interest” is included in the paper.

9.  Originality Declaration

The Author(s) confirm that the submitted work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
